The swimming pool of Mas Redortra’s rural accommodation is a reality that has completely transformed guests’ experience. With a 7 x 4 meter pool, visitors can enjoy this refreshing addition during their stay on the estate. Reservations are open, and guests can immerse themselves in this oasis from their arrival.
The pool has been built in a privileged location of the estate, in a private and protected area that offers exceptional views of the Ges-Bisaura valley, the plains of Vic, and the Montseny mountains. Our goal was to have a rural accommodation with a pool where one could enjoy all the good things the area has to offer: relaxation, nature, and good weather.
Safety has always been paramount for Mas Redortra, which is why our rural accommodation with a pool features a fence surrounding the entire perimeter of the water. This way, families can enjoy their stay at the estate without worrying that the little ones might accidentally fall into the pool. The fence is equipped with safety features that can only be activated by adults.
The surroundings of the pool have been designed to satisfy all the tastes of our visitors. They can find refuge from the sun under the shade of the oaks and holm oaks, or sunbathe on the lawn and areas adjacent to the water, immersed in a natural environment ideal for relaxation. In this way, our large group accommodation with swimming pool in Spain has become an additional space for families and friends to enjoy special moments together, surrounded by nature and with views of the majestic mountains of Montseny.
The pool, with dimensions of 7 x 4 meters, is equipped with a saltwater system, which offers numerous advantages. Saltwater represents a more natural and healthy alternative compared to chlorinated water used in many pools. Containing fewer chemicals, it is much less likely that the water will cause negative effects on swimmers, both children and adults. Furthermore, the salt concentration is much lower than that of the sea, so it is not harmful to the eyes.
The choice to have a saltwater pool at our farmhouse in Catalonia reflects our commitment to a sustainable and healthy estate model to offer to our guests.
The pool of Mas Redortra is open beyond the summer, even if the facilities are already over during the whole year. With the possibility of covering and heating it using renewable energy, it is intended to extend the days when you can enjoy the pool water with family and friends. Normally, due to the conditions of the property, most families prefer to rent the entire farmhouse for total privacy and availability during their stay.
The property is completely blocked with reservations for a total of 18 people.
In some cases where we accommodate small groups or couples who do not occupy the entire accommodation, the property may have guests in the different separate modules, who share use of the pool. Please contact us without any problem and we will adapt to the needs of your family.
The pool is available all year round and ready for use every morning, both in the summer and winter seasons.
It is becoming more common for people who follow specific health and personal care habits to take cold showers or baths. We know that, for them, using a pool in winter is an exceptional opportunity to practice these habits and to get their immune system and circulation in good shape, following the most recent premises and recommendations for health and longevity, and that is why the pool remains open throughout the year.
The pool is available for free use 24 hours a day.
However, we always indicate the hours when maintenance work is being carried out at night.
Children must use the pool under the supervision of an adult, and animals are not allowed to enter or swim in the pool.
For safety reasons, glassware is not allowed in the pool area. The use of bath towels from the accommodation is also not permitted and pool towels must be used.
In addition, the use of soaps or gels in the pool is not permitted, as we follow strict sustainability criteria in its maintenance.
Free use of the pool is reserved for people staying at the country house. In the case of larger events, use of the pool is restricted for safety reasons. You can check the conditions with our events staff.
