Mas Redortra

Mas Redortra is an extraordinary farmhouse located at the foot of the Bellmunt mountain range, in the pre-Pyrenees of Catalonia, whose origins date back to the fifteenth century.

With fantastic views over the Plana de Vic and the Montseny massif, the estate was completely renovated in 2004 maintaining its essence, respecting the elements of traditional architecture and with criteria of efficiency and ecology.

The property has 3 modules with independent rooms that can accommodate up to 22 people distributed in 9 double and triple rooms, as well as 2 rooms for holding events of 30 and 150 people.

The farm has almost 30,000 m2 of private space, fenced and 100 hectares of land where you will find cows, horses, chickens, orchards and a natural lake.

Undoubtedly, a dream place to spend a few days of recollection or celebration with family or friends, doing activities or simply resting in a privileged environment.

Osona on foot or by bike

In the surroundings we can do a multitude of activities, from bike rides or horseback riding along the network of roads of Bellmunt and Vall del Ges, to bathing in the nearby rivers.

Just 20 minutes away we find the city of Vic with architecture and Romanesque heritage, small shops in narrow pedestrian streets, restaurants and large shopping and leisure areas.

A PRIVILEGED LOCATION

La Garrotxa and el Ripollès

Mas Redortra is located a few minutes from the regions of La Garrotxa and Ripollès. Visit La Garrotxa with excursions inside volcanoes, dreamy landscapes in its beech forests and the modern architecture of the award-winning Pritzer RCR. In el Ripollès, escape to the Romanesque town of Campordón, discover the sanctuary and the mountains of Núria where the imposing Puigmal rises (2,900m) and make the most of the snow in the ski resort of Vallter 2000.

The farm

The farm is composed of three independent modules with capacity for 4, 8 and 10 people that can be rented separately or together for a total of 22 places.
All accommodations enjoy private outdoor areas and access to the gardens of the estate of more than 30,000 m2 fenced.

For long stays, we offer a towel and sheet replacement service. Please inquire upon arrival

We have underway the construction of a large outdoor pool with solarium area and completely protected to prevent the access of unaccompanied minors. Check availability for bookings from 2023.

A FIFTEENTH-CENTURY FARMHOUSE WITH STRICT SUSTAINABILITY CRITERIA

Sustainability is one of the bases of our farm, so strict criteria of ecological sustainability and respect for the environment are followed.

Mas Redortra has its own garden and animals. The land is managed with biodynamic farming techniques, without fertilizers or pesticides. Cows and horses help to constantly revitalize the meadows and the environment of the estate. In addition, all our suppliers are locally sourced.

Recycling and waste management are very important to us. That is why we have a policy of reducing plastic waste and we make organic fertilizer. The energy of the farm is generated by biomass that comes from forest cleaning remains following a strict plan and the water we use comes from the mountain, with a biological purification system.
