Before deciding to rent a holiday cottage in Spain, it’s crucial to compare the services they offer to ensure it meets all your requirements and needs. The only requirement for making a reservation is to be over 18 years old.

Our farmhouse is divided into three accommodations or modules with a maximum capacity of 24 people: Mas Redortra, the house of the old barn, and the Masoveria, with capacities of 11, 9, and 4 people, respectively.

The accommodations are located a few meters from each other, and the main farmhouse is equipped with tableware, a barbecue, and a large table with seating for the 24 guests. Therefore, if you’re a large group, you’ll have the option to divide into different modules with the possibility of sharing meals together, both indoors and outdoors.

Regarding events, the maximum capacity of the celebration hall is 150 people indoors and can accommodate up to 300 people in outdoor spaces such as the square or the 60,000 m2 gardens.

Renting a rural farmhouse usually comes with a variety of facilities and flexibility to organize events according to your needs. Mas Redortra offers accommodation for up to 24 people. If you choose to rent the entire accommodation, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor the event to your needs and use all the estate’s spaces freely, including the pool, the children’s play area, and the barbecue with a table for up to 24 people and all its utensils.

For events and celebrations with more than 24 people, we have two halls with capacities for 30 and 150 people, which you can rent for various types of events, from yoga retreats and team-building days to large family celebrations and weddings. In this case, you also have the option to use all the outdoor space and gardens, as well as the possibility of optionally renting accommodation.

For stays of several days, the tourist activities available near the farmhouses located in central Catalonia are extensive and varied. From Mas Redortra, in the Osona region, we are in the heart of the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, well connected with numerous excursions in the Pyrenees region, from Camprodon to La Cerdanya and Andorra, as well as excursions to the volcanic area of La Garrotxa and just an hour away from the best beaches on the Costa Brava.

If your stay is a weekend getaway and you’re looking for excursions and hiking routes from the farmhouse itself, Mas Redortra is the starting point for the iconic itinerary to the Sanctuary of Bellmunt, a classic and accessible excursion for all ages. Starting at the parking lot of the Mas Redortra estate and ending at the Sanctuary of Bellmunt, it lasts approximately an hour and a half and ends at 1240 meters with panoramic views over the plain of Vic, Montseny, Montserrat, and the Pyrenees, including Nuria, Pedraforca, and the La Garrotxa area. It is undoubtedly the flagship excursion for thousands of hikers every year.

The rental of Mas Redortra is for a maximum of 24 people, in three different modules. Beyond 24 people, we offer different options for larger events: with two halls that have capacities for 30 and 150 people, respectively.

Rentals of Mas Redortra include the use of outdoor spaces, the pool, the barbecue, and the children’s play area with a playhouse and foosball table. If you plan to use our pool, you can consult the specific regulations for pools as it is a freely accessible pool. If you plan to bring pets, it will be necessary to rent the Masoveria house, which is equipped and prepared for pet accommodation.

Once you have formalized the reservation, we will request the usual documentation and identifications established by the Mossos d’Esquadra, automated through a booking platform in a rigorous and secure way for your data.

The rental of our rural farmhouse includes the service of a “masovera,” a person who does not stay or reside during your stay but will be available throughout the day by phone for anything you may need.

The masovera is responsible for cleaning and maintenance services, as well as providing support during event celebrations.

During accommodation stays, the masovera also takes care of daily waste collection, the maintenance of the chickens, and generally ensures that everything is in order and no detail is missed during your stay, in addition to offering you guidance on excursions and local shops.

For longer stays, the masovera can arrange for a change of sheets upon request.

We offer catering service and the option to hire a cook, as well as a home delivery service that is stored in the pantry and fridge before your arrival.

For large events, we have a list of trusted caterers. These are local providers who offer locally sourced menus, with extensive experience in event catering, and with whom we have collaborated for many years in family parties and celebrations of all kinds.

For retreats, team buildings, and other special celebrations, in addition to the catering option, we offer the service of a cook who travels to the estate to prepare customized menus, respecting intolerances and preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free menus.

For corporate events such as team-building days, conferences, and retreats, we also offer coffee break service with tea and pastries at agreed-upon times of your choice.

While most rural farmhouses in Catalonia are usually located in privileged locations away from urban centers and without the possibility of having a fast fiber optic connection, at Mas Redortra, we ensure you have an internet connection via radio with adequate speed for browsing and telecommuting.

It’s a fast connection that allows for video calls during work meetings and team buildings, browsing and telecommuting, or downloading movies to enjoy in our accommodations.

The farmhouse comes with a radio device at your disposal to maintain a constant fast connection, which can be moved to different spaces to avoid speed reduction due to the large stone walls that make up the estate’s buildings.

Masoveria House is the rural dog friendly cottage. Pets are not allowed in the main pet friendly holiday villa of Redortra as we have carpets and natural wooden floors.

Yes, a complete set per room is included in the rental. Additionally, for longer stays, it’s possible to request a change of sheets for a small additional cost.

Check-in time: From 17:00 h onwards.

Check-out time: Check-out time is at 12:00 h. However, for Sunday check-outs, the check-out time is until 17:00 h (subject to availability).
