The region of Osona, where our rural estate is located, is an ideal corner of Catalonia to celebrate Christmas near Barcelona. Our accommodation is divided into three independent modules following the classic configuration of a traditional farmhouse: the main house, Masía Redortra, the annex of the old barn, and the masoveria, each carefully restored and maintaining the rustic style with stone walls and wooden roofs.
Each of the buildings can accommodate up to 12, 8, and 4 people, and can be booked independently or together for groups of up to 24 people. Additionally, the event halls can also be adapted for different groups of up to 150 people.
Mas Redortra’s natural environment is full of spots to make a getaway during Christmas special in one of our rural accommodations. The Ges-Bisaura valley and the green areas of the estate are ideal.
The villages of Rupit, Vidrà, and Tavertet are some of the most charming villages in the Osona region, with beautiful rural atmospheres and spectacular views. Taking a route through all these villages is a great idea to enjoy our rural accommodation with family, in a very special Christmas atmosphere. The Sau reservoir, the Salt del Molí, and the Fageda d’en Jordà are some of the most outstanding natural spots in the area.

The estate has a maximum capacity of 24 people. These can be divided into 9 different rooms, which in turn are distributed in three different modules or accommodations, very well connected. The farmhouse also has a common space, as well as all necessary services.
Yes. Mas Redortra’s barbecue perfectly suits all types of groups, up to 24 people. It is located in a very special area of the estate, with views of the plain of Vic and accompanied by a large oak table. It also includes cutlery, crockery, and glassware for its maximum capacity.
At Mas Redortra, you can hire the catering service that best suits the needs of the guests. In addition, the team has a list of trusted suppliers available to visitors who want to organize a small celebration.
Home shopping is also possible, as the estate collaborates with two local shops that can deliver the shopping to the accommodations before or during the visit.
Guests staying at the estate have a porch space to share meals. In it, they have a large barbecue, an oak table with capacity for up to 24 people, and very good views of the farmhouse and the plain of Vic. In addition, each of the accommodations has its own kitchen, living room, and dining room, fully equipped for all guests.
Large celebrations are also possible at Mas Redortra. The estate has the classic hall, for up to 30 guests, and the main hall, with space for up to 150 people, perfect for meals or meetings that exceed the 24 guests of the estate.
Up to five people can access the estate to spend the day with Mas Redortra’s guests, thus allowing flexibility in organizing meals and celebrations. Mas Redortra also offers options and event halls to organize tailored meetings and celebrations for up to 150 people.
A member of Mas Redortra’s team takes care of the maintenance of the estate and addresses any inquiries while maintaining privacy.
The estate has a wooden playhouse with a little kitchen and a wide variety of games, as well as a table football game for all guests. Additionally, Mas Redortra’s gardens are the perfect space to let the little ones play while discovering nature.
To respect guests with possible allergies and the furniture and constructions made of natural materials, animals must stay out of the main farmhouse and the old barn house, but they are very welcome to roam all outdoor areas and stay at the farmhouse, specially designed for families with pets.
Staying at Mas Redortra is perfect for a skiing getaway to the Catalan Pyrenees. The nearest ski resort is located in Ripollès, Nuria. Additionally, the VallTer2000, La Molina, and Masella resorts are also nearby, approximately an hour’s drive away.
The excursion to the Bellmunt monastery is the most well-known in the vicinity of the estate, a hike suitable for all ages, just over an hour long with a 600-meter elevation gain. Its arrival rewards visitors with exceptional 360-degree views of the Pyrenees, Montseny, the plain of Vic, and Montserrat, icons of Catalan nature. Additionally, in the regions of Osona, Ripollès, and Garrotxa, estate visitors can find highly recommended excursions throughout the year, to charming villages like Ripoll or Camprodon, unique places like the Fageda d’en Jordà or the volcanic area of Garrotxa, and lesser-known spots close to Mas Redortra like the Ges valley.
The estate has radiators and underfloor heating systems to maintain temperature in the accommodations. The outdoor barbecue is the point on the estate where you can light a fire.
At the estate, we love Christmas, so every year the farmhouse is decorated with a big tree. Besides this, guests can freely decorate the accommodations, and they can even send materials to the estate in advance to find them in the accommodations upon arrival.
