All areas of Catalonia offer different and exciting activities during the summer, but Mas Redortra’s rural estate focuses on tranquility and discovering the most rural Catalan heritage. In addition, on the estate, we have different accommodations that adapt to all types of families with children, and the environment of the Ges-Bisaura valley is perfect for spending quality time with family without having to travel by car; there are plenty of activities in the area to enjoy with the little ones.
Mas Redortra has a wonderful barbecue area for celebrating special occasions, but it also has a newly inaugurated pool to enjoy with company on the hottest days.
The pool is built in a privileged location on the estate, a private and protected area from which you can enjoy exceptional views of the Ges-Bisaura valley, the plain of Vic, and the Montseny. In addition, it has a security fence and is treated with saltwater to offer a healthier and chemical-free alternative.
The region of Osona, where our rural estate is located, is an ideal corner of Catalonia to spend the summer holidays. Our accommodation is divided into three independent modules following the classic configuration of a traditional farmhouse: the main house, Masía Redortra, the annex of the old barn, and the caretaker’s house, each carefully restored and maintaining the rustic style with stone walls and wooden roofs.
Each of the buildings can accommodate up to 12, 8, and 4 people, and can be booked independently or together for groups of up to 24 people. In addition, the event halls can also be adapted to different groups of up to 150 people.

There is a common space in the form of an outdoor porch to accommodate up to 24 guests and carry out activities and communal meals, with all essential services, exceptional views, and an outdoor table.
Yes, the outdoor pool of the farmhouse was inaugurated in 2024 and is available to all visitors. This pool offers privacy and is located near the accommodations of the estate, with a good size and a sunbathing area.
The estate has a barbecue that caters to groups of all sizes, for up to 24 people. It is located on a porch, with a solid oak wood table and capacity for all guests of the farmhouse. Additionally, the barbecue area has exceptional views of the estate and its surroundings and is designed with different levels to accommodate different group sizes. Tableware, cutlery, glassware, and everything necessary for all diners are included.
The three modules of Mas Redortra have their own living areas, dining rooms, and kitchens that include all essential services for the 24 guests. Nevertheless, all visitors to the estate can gather in the outdoor barbecue area and share activities and meals there, with a barbecue, a porch with exceptional views, and a spacious solid oak wood table, ideal for group meetings. In the case of wanting to gather larger groups, Mas Redortra has two event lounges: the classic lounge for groups of up to 30 people and the main lounge for up to 150 guests.
At Mas Redortra, we are flexible to allow the organization of exceptional family and group gatherings, so up to five people can join the guests to spend a day of their holidays. In the case of wanting to organize a more numerous event, the estate has lounges for up to 30 and 150 people, and our team will be happy to guide you to organize the best celebration or meeting possible.
The most recommended excursion near Mas Redortra is a classic: the ascent to Bellmunt monastery. It’s about an hour-long hike, perfect for enjoying the surroundings closest to the farmhouse and the magnificent Ges Valley. The climb to Bellmunt is ideal for all ages and rewards visitors with incredible panoramic views of the Catalan Pyrenees, Montseny, and Montserrat mountain. In the valley, excursions can also be organized for all levels, enjoying waterfalls, beech forests, centuries-old oaks, and fantastic historical bridges.
Near the estate, just a few minutes’ drive to the east, is the region of La Garrotxa, with a classified volcanic area highly recommended for multiple excursions. Also nearby, heading towards the Pyrenees, Ripollès offers the famous excursion to Nuria Valley and its sanctuary, as well as towns with a lot of historical heritage like Ripoll and Camprodon.
A member of Mas Redortra’s team will be at the estate to address any questions or needs that may arise during the visit. However, privacy will be respected at all times, and they will be absent during the night.

The estate collaborates with two local shops, offering home shopping for Mas Redortra’s guests. There is the possibility of organizing a purchase that will be ready in the accommodations upon arrival, as well as making home purchases during the stay.
Mas Redortra is perfect for letting the youngest members of the family play outdoors. The estate has different entertainment areas, as well as extensive gardens. Additionally, in the farmhouse, children can enjoy a wooden house, with a small kitchen and various games. The farmhouse is specially prepared to welcome pets, as well as all outdoor garden and grass areas. Due to its construction style and classic decoration, pets cannot access the main house and the old barn house.
