Pol and Laura’s photoshoot in the lake area

Laura and Pol’s wedding is one of those magical stories. The couple met during their teenage years and have shared more than ten years of relationship. After finishing their university studies, they decided to embark on an unforgettable experience in northern Norway, near the North Cape, where for weeks on end the sun cannot be seen. For a year, they lived in this wild environment, learning about survival in extreme temperatures and enjoying nature in its purest form.

It was under the Northern Lights when Pol proposed to Laura. Upon returning home, they decided to celebrate their union in a very personal way: a simple wedding, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Weekeend Celebration

The celebration began on Friday afternoon when the couple and their families arrived at the estate to share a cozy dinner marking the start of the weekend. That night, surrounded by nature and calm, they rested and prepared for the big day.

On Saturday morning, each family unit enjoyed a buffet breakfast served in their independent accommodations, allowing for intimacy within each group while maintaining the comfort of being in the same space.

A ceremony with symbolism

The ceremony was held in the estate’s gardens on a perfect spring day: the grass shone in a deep green, the trees were beginning to bloom, and the temperature was ideal. The mayor of Sant Pere de Torelló officiated the ceremony with respect and elegance, highlighting Laura and Pol’s love story and the special surroundings that accompanied them. The decoration, by Floristeria Elles, combined natural and personal elements.

A celebration full of details

After the ceremony, the guests gathered at La Plaça to enjoy an exquisite aperitif, with tapas and drinks served by Versatils Catering. This space allowed for relaxed moments before entering the Event Hall, where the banquet was held. The tables, seven round ones seating eight or ten guests, were decorated in light tones that matched the crossback chairs and the oak wood presidential table.

During dessert, the team from Xevi Festes prepared a special surprise: a video with a message from the Norwegian family that had hosted Laura and Pol during their stay in the north. This gesture deeply moved the couple and their guests, leaving an unforgettable memory.

A party to remember

The celebration continued at La Plaça, where the DJ livened up the evening under a spectacular sunset over the Plana de Vic. The music, the atmosphere, and the joy continued into the early hours of the morning, closing the day with an unforgettable energy.

But the weekend didn’t end there. Laura and Pol’s families took advantage of the estate’s privileged surroundings to spend Sunday together, enjoying a family lunch in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The three independent houses, with their nine double, triple, and quadruple rooms, offered each family unit the perfect combination of privacy and common spaces to continue sharing special moments.

The images of the event were captured by our reference photographer, Judith Casas, and the video by the exceptional team at Nordic Films.
