This is the thank-you message we received after an exceptional weekend the Martí family spent at Mas Redortra. Without a doubt, the best reward for our work is knowing that you take home these wonderful memories from your stay.

Some families have traditions that go beyond birthdays and holidays. The Martí family has a very special one: an annual weekend to reconnect, unplug from screens, and strengthen bonds across generations. Every year, they choose a new location, looking for a space where young and old can coexist, enjoy, and create memories together. In 2025, the meeting point was Mas Redortra, and we can joyfully say it became one of those weekends to remember for years to come.

At Mas Redortra, we love to host family gatherings like this one. Our space, nestled in the heart of nature in Sant Pere de Torelló, is ideal for large groups looking for a peaceful setting, comfortable accommodation, and areas designed to make everyone feel at home. We offer spacious rooms, play and relaxation zones, a swimming pool, and special spots for outdoor activities. But most importantly: we’re passionate about making every weekend unique, and the Martí gathering allowed us to do exactly that.
Friday: a warm welcome, dips in the pool, and a taste of the weekend to come
Family members began arriving Friday afternoon in cars full of suitcases, excited children, and reunited smiles. Their first contact with Mas Redortra was a relaxed tour of the facilities: room assignments, a look at the pool area, and a walk through the gardens. That special atmosphere quickly set in—the kind that forms when different generations share space and time, each at their own pace, but all eager to enjoy together.
Dinner was provided by Al Gra catering, with a delicious and thoughtful menu for all ages. We love working with suppliers who share our passion for high-quality ingredients and well-crafted meals, and the dishes served were the perfect start to a promising weekend. With conversations flowing, toasts being made, and even a few spontaneous dips in the pool, the first night ended with everyone wanting more.

Saturday: inflatable laughter, a spectacular barbecue, and a rock-filled excursion
The next day started with a hearty breakfast, once again courtesy of Al Gra Catering. Everyone needed energy for one of the wildest activities of the weekend: bubble football. This activity, run by the Divermax team, was an absolute hit. Picture kids and adults wearing huge inflatable bubbles, running, rolling, and bumping into each other while trying to score goals. Laughter filled the air, and even the most hesitant family members joined in. The pool once again became the perfect refreshing retreat afterward.
Lunch was a true culinary celebration. El Fogón Patagónico prepared an Argentine barbecue with grilled meats and flavorful sides that delighted everyone. Sharing a meal outdoors under the gentle May sun was one of the most beautiful scenes of the day.
In the afternoon, the pace shifted to discovery and calm. Ingrid and Jordi, passionate geologists and excellent communicators, led the family on a flat, circular route around the Castle of Orís. With engaging explanations adapted to all ages, they turned the walk into a journey through time and geology. The kids listened in awe, and the grandparents were thrilled to enjoy a hike without steep slopes. This activity showed that learning and fun can absolutely go hand in hand.
Sunday: a calm awakening and a peaceful farewell
After Saturday’s full program, Sunday arrived with a gentler tone. Breakfast was followed by a yoga and meditation session led by Yogaatwork, offering the family a moment of calm and connection. In a natural setting like ours, practicing yoga takes on a whole new dimension: the fresh air, birdsong, and the silence accompanying deep breaths create the perfect atmosphere to recharge.

The final meal — a delicious paella also prepared by Al Gra — was a moment of celebration and gratitude. Conversations lingered, glances were full of connection, and the overall feeling was one of collective well-being that only happens when everyone feels part of the same heartbeat. Some took advantage of the last few hours to relax by the pool, while others went up to the Sanctuary of Bellmunt, on foot or by car, to say goodbye to the weekend from a breathtaking viewpoint.
