Mónica and Gerard’s wedding was an intimate and emotional celebration, surrounded by a warm and family-like atmosphere. With their young son, who was about to turn one, they made May 18th an unforgettable date not only for them but also for their 70 guests. The ceremony, officiated by the mayor of Torelló, was both a union and a baptism, creating a moment filled with symbolism in an unbeatable setting: the meadow overlooking the pond at Mas Redortra.

An emotional and imersive ceremony

The location chosen for the ceremony could not have been more perfect. The meadow overlooking the pond was decorated with a delicate garland of fresh flowers, created by the florists of Art Floral de Torelló, a family business with decades of experience and great renown in the region. These floral details, combined with wooden benches from a local artisan and an oak signing table that belongs to the estate, added a rustic yet elegant charm.

The couple decided to share their most special moment with their son in their arms, leaving the main house to walk together towards the ceremony space. This moment was particularly emotional and captivated all the guests, who couldn’t help but smile at seeing the family’s connection.

Local products and culinary excellence

After the ceremony, the guests moved to the small square, where they were greeted with an exquisite aperitif prepared by Santi from the Ca la Teresona restaurant in Vic. Known for his commitment to local products and quality, Santi amazed everyone with a selection of tapas and small servings, all based on typical Osona dishes.

The lunch continued in the same vein, with a tapas format that invited guests to enjoy a varied and authentic culinary experience. The open bar, also provided by Ca la Teresona, ensured the festive atmosphere lasted well into the night.

Captured moments and perfect music

The day was captured by Judit Casas, a regular photographer at Mas Redortra who always knows how to capture the essence of each event. Her images reflected not only the couple’s love but also the moments of connection with their guests.

The music, as always, was provided by DJ Xevi Festes, who knows exactly how to liven up any celebration. From the first dance to the final party, Xevi made sure everyone had fun and enjoyed to the fullest.

A relaxed and complicit ending

When the party ended, around two in the morning, the couple and 20 of their closest friends retired to two of the estate’s houses, where they spent the night in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
