On July 12, 2024, Mas Redortra was the perfect setting to host the team building event organized by Trioteca, a company dedicated to facilitating access to mortgage financing in Spain. With more than 60 team members attending the event, this training and bonding day was an excellent opportunity to foster cohesion and collaboration in a natural and welcoming environment.
Morning: conference and coffee break
The participants arrived mid-morning by bus from Barcelona, with great energy and expectations for the day ahead. Upon arrival, the Mas Redortra coordination team welcomed them and guided them on a brief tour of the estate to familiarize them with the surroundings. They then headed to La Nave, Mas Redortra’s main event room, reserved for the company’s corporate presentation.
The room was set up in an auditorium format, with well-distributed seating for all attendees. Xevi Guitart, the audiovisual technician, set up the necessary equipment for the presentation, including a screen and speakers. Once the corporate presentation was over, the attendees moved to the coffee break area, where Cufi Catering offered them a light yet delicious breakfast. A selection of pastries, coffee, tea, and juices were perfect to recharge before continuing with the day’s activities.
Midday: paella contest
The next activity was one of the most anticipated: the paella contest, organized by Cufi Catering, specialists in culinary and gastronomic events. Canopies were set up on the lawn in front of the main room to protect the participants from the summer sun. The Trioteca team was divided into four groups, each with a specific role: some handled the ingredients, others the broth, and the cooking. Teamwork was essential to make the best paella, an activity that encouraged collaboration and friendly competition among participants.
Once the paellas were prepared, a jury, composed of some Trioteca members, was appointed to taste and judge the different paellas. The most voted one was declared the winner, and everyone enjoyed the spectacular banquet inside La Nave, a cool and welcoming room that provided relief from the July heat. The attendees shared a relaxed and enjoyable time while tasting the paellas they had prepared, in a laid-back and pleasant atmosphere.
Afternoon: recognitions and relaxation
After lunch, the moment was right to recognize the team’s effort and celebrate individual achievements. Trioteca’s executives organized a brief presentation, during which awards and recognition were given to team members for their contributions, as well as congratulations for birthdays and other personal milestones. This moment created an emotional and appreciative atmosphere that strengthened the bonds between team members.
In the afternoon, the group was able to enjoy Mas Redortra’s natural surroundings. The pool and garden area provided the perfect backdrop to continue the day in a more relaxed and casual atmosphere. A free bar with a selection of mojitos, beers, and soft drinks was the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of conversation and fun with colleagues. Some members took the opportunity to rest in the shaded areas, while others dared to take a dip in the pool.
Closing: an unforgettable day
The day came to a close at 6:00 PM when the bus arrived to take Trioteca members back to Barcelona. Although the day was intense and full of activities, the group left with a positive memory of the event. Their gratitude for the warm welcome, the facilities, and the service at Mas Redortra was palpable.
