The wedding of Queralt and Carles with spectacular views

In April 2023, Queralt and Carles celebrated their wedding in an intimate and elegant ceremony at Mas Redortra. Although the spring weather brought a bit of rain in the evening, nothing stopped their celebration from becoming an unforgettable event. With only 50 guests, they opted for a small but emotional wedding, making the most of the estate’s spaces.

A ceremony under the spring sky

The celebration began at La Plaça, a perfect setting to say “I do.” Despite the threatening clouds in the morning, the rain respected the ceremony, allowing the couple to experience the moment without any worries. The atmosphere was calm, wrapped in the gentle song of birds and the soft April breeze.

Queralt arrived radiant, on the arm of her mother, wearing a flowing and simple dress that suited her natural elegance. Upon seeing her, Carles couldn’t help but smile, visibly moved. The speeches from friends and family made the guests laugh and cry equally, and when they exchanged vows, it was clear to everyone that their love was deep and sincere.

When the ceremony ended, the guests threw dried flower petals as the couple left the square, officially married and full of happiness.

A warm appetizer in the porches

Next, the guests moved to the pre-porches of La Nau, where a local product-based appetizer awaited them. The trays of artisanal cheeses and local cured meats were a hit, as were the spoonfuls of pumpkin cream and homemade croquettes that disappeared in minutes. The porches, with their wooden structure and soft lighting, offered a cozy atmosphere where guests could converse, toast, and share anecdotes with the newlyweds.

A banquet full of details

When it was time for the banquet, everyone entered La Nau, a spacious and elegant area decorated with candles and wildflowers in white and green tones. The couple chose a round table setup, encouraging conversation and closeness among the guests.

The menu, designed to give each dish a special touch, surprised everyone. The starter, a seasonal salad with caramelized figs, was followed by a second course of roasted lamb that melted in the mouth. Instead of a traditional cake, Queralt and Carles had opted for a varied dessert table, with small cakes, macarons, and cups of chocolate mousse.

An improviseed but perfect party

As night fell, the rain finally made its presence known, but far from ruining the celebration, it added a touch of magic to the evening. Luckily, everyone was able to take shelter inside La Nau, where the music was ready to kick off the party.

The DJ lifted the spirits with a musical selection that blended classic dance hits with more current songs. The first to hit the dance floor were the couple, who opened the dance with a song that had accompanied them from the beginning. Slowly, everyone joined them, and soon the dance floor was full.

The highlight came when someone suggested an impromptu conga line, and before anyone knew it, all the guests were united in a long line, dancing under the warm lights of the venue.

The party lasted well into the early hours, with friends and family playing the last songs while the rain gently tapped on the roof. When they finally said their goodbyes, many agreed on the same thought: that wedding had undoubtedly been a celebration full of authenticity and memorable moments.
